Abstract: 

Electrochemical rifling is one of the most effective and well-known methods for barrel rifling in the inner surface of complex shapes. In this research a desirable rifling tool is designed, modeled and manufactured via electrochemical theories.  Then the manufactured tool electrode is tested and the theoretical and experimental results are compared with each other. This comparison shows a very good agreement, confirming that the desired processes can be theoretically analyzed via electrochemical basic theories on one hand, and also effective machining parameters determination on the other. This method can easily replace the high cost trial and error methods commonly in practice.

Abstract: 

In our technological world, there are plenty of opportunities to utilize science and engineering to improve exerciseperformances. Muscular strength is one of the main components of the physical fitness. In this regard, the IsometricDynamometer is a scientific instrument intended to quantify the muscle strength. Hence, the aim of this project was tomanufacture an innovative computerized isometric dynamometer package and relevant software.In the current project a high precision isometric force transducers (2000 and 5000 N), instrumental amplifier, high precisionAnalog-to-Digital Converter connected to a high speed microcontroller were implemented. A graphic LCD, MicroSDmemory card used in the data logger to display and record the force data. Professional software was designed tocommunicate with the data logger by a USB port and display four-channel line charts in online mode. Offline data processingand record the processed data on a database is also available. This device provided an innovative method of simultaneousright & left side dynamometry using two sensors to measure any imbalance in the strength between two limbs.Additionally, this package has a grip dynamometer, a pull and press hands dynamometer, and optional connectionto other force sensors. The linearity of the sensors’ output for 0, 10, 50, 100, 200 kg weights was 99.99 and testretestmeasurements confirmed very high reliability (0.99±0.012). This package was extensively applied in thelaboratory researches due to its unique simultaneous force measurement feature. Hence, this package withdistinctive specifications can extensively implement in clinic, gym, laboratory, field tests.

Abstract: 

Nowadays, we are witnessing the growth of firms that distribute the production capacity of their products to a wide geographic range to supply the demand of several markets. In this article, the relationships and interactions between cell design and supply chain design are investigated. For this purpose, a novel integrated model is presented for designing dynamic cellular manufacturing systems in supply chain design. Different components in the supply chain design, such as location of production facilities at a number of candidate sites, procurement of raw materials from suppliers, shipment of raw materials to production facilities, manufacturing of products, and distribution of products to markets are considered in dynamic environments. The costs concerning these components are minimized. Since the proposed problem is NP-hard, however, a genetic algorithm is presented for application of the model to real-sized instances. Numerical examples demonstrate that the algorithm performs successfully in searching for optimal or near-optimal solutions.

Abstract: 

To study the effect of froth drop back (FDB) on copper concentrate grade a column with special shape in washing zone was designed and manufactured in Sarcheshmeh copper complex of Iran. The column’s height is 500 cm with the diameter of 6 cm. The three product column (3PC) is made of plexyglass material with a special elbow. This column has shown to yield, clean, high-grade concentrates because it separates the froth-rejected particles (drop-back or third product) selectively and uses two washing water entrances. This column is suitable to study Jw, JB, FDB and wash water addition point in conventional flotation columns. This cell showed promising results in terms of enrichment ratio as a copper cleaner. Also copper concentrate grade of 23.5% was achieved.

Abstract: 

Control of weed is one of the most important problems in the botanic gardens, tree nurseries and plant research centers which generally are man made with high cost and time investment. In this investigation a wheel trimmer (brush cutter) was designed and manufactured which not only is used for weed controlling but also is applicable for seedling and bush cutting, harvesting medicinal plants and lawn mowering. The process of design and manufacturing of this machine consist mechanism selection, calculation of required power, design of the power transmission mechanism, parts design, preparing 2nd and 3rd dimensional drafts, parts manufacturing and assembling. After manufacturing, investigation on application and comparing with other methods and machines especially for time efficiency has been done. Results showed that cultivating, forage harvesting in agroforestry field, medicinal plants harvesting and mowering of old, bushy and uneven lawn are applicable and has better time efficiency compare to manual and other general methods. In bushy nurseries with high density of narrow and high young seedlings, using of this machine with circular saw blade has more efficiency in comparison to chain saw. However, in low density nurseries with thick seedlings (diameter more than 5 cm), chain saw is applicable. This wheel trimmer is a multi purpose machine with four kind knives. It is cheap, high efficient, safe and suitable for gardens, plant research centers and nurseries with low maintenance and repairing costs.

Abstract: 

In recent years many researchers have been focused on active magnetic bearing (AMB) systems. AMB offers advantages such as, contact less and friction free operation, excellent performance over a wide range of temperature, no need for lubricant and longer life. Technology of magnetic bearings can be considered as a new field of research in Iran. This paper presents design, manufacturing and control of a magnetically levitation system with successful operation. This research concluded with documentation of the AMB technology which is prerequisite for earning the technology of active magnetic systems (AMS) and paves the way to develop it.

Abstract: 

Compiling of strategies in organization and various parts of community is response to which changes is occurring in various area especially in economic and industrial ones. In this study, to design a model for strategy formulation and strategy firm production of a comprehensive strategy framework in the form of exploratory studies, mixed use is thus the stage of qualitative case study method (pure milk company) and a small stage Method of descriptive information is collected. Information gathering stage semi-structured qualitative interviews with 24 people and open the experts and pundits, and review multiple sources and documentation has been. Firstly, the company mission statement, making the second stage screening factors due to fuzzy logic, in the third stage of completion of Swat matrix according to previous information and extract the four strategies and ultimately making decisions with quantitative methods using questionnaires to the priority Classification strategies to help extractive AHP has been a result of the best strategy for firms looking for market development and product strategy.

Abstract: 

determination of design and manufacturing strategies of motor vehicles need collections and analysis of various information's. In this paper , results of a research for determining possible strategy for design and manufacturing motor vehicles for next ten years in Iran is presented .The subject was divided into eight sections were used to select possible strategies and their paths. Historical background of design and manufacturing planning and policy of motor vehicles in the country was needed in the first step .Planning and policies of some industrial and developing countries were searched and analyzed .To predict paths of research and development in motor vehicle , an extended literature review was done on the subject .Levels of knowledge ,experience and ability to meet existing and required standards for design and production of motors vehicles were needed and determined in other parts. Economic analyzes were also done on several alternative by using theories of engineering economics. In addition to the economic effect , social and cultural effects on different alternatives were also considered. The strategy method of strength , weakness, opportunity ,and treats(SWOT) was used to select the best or possible strategy
